Engr Anthony Odogbo

Anthony Ifedayo Odogbo is a seasoned energy executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across the upstream and midstream oil & gas value chain. His career spans field development, asset operations, production optimization, drilling oversight, gas commercialization, and the commissioning of major processing and pipeline infrastructure.      

Anthony is the Managing Partner of Trackzone Energy Resources Ltd, an Oil & Gas Servicing Company that provides services for Marginal fields and Independent Oil Company’s in Drilling Services, End to -End Asset Development, Project Management, EPCM Services and Asset Production Optimization.          

He served as Senior Asset Operations Manager and Acting Chief Technical Officer at Energia Ltd., where he provides strategic and technical leadership for OML 56 operations. He has been instrumental in sustaining high production reliability, executing multi-million-dollar engineering projects, strengthening operational governance, and driving cost-efficiency initiatives that improved the company’s financial and operational performance.         

Prior to joining Energia Ltd, Anthony was Operations/Commissioning Manager at Seven Exploration & Production Company now Savanah Energy as pioneer staff who carried out field development, utilization, commercialization and monetization of the OML 13 gas field. He also put in 10 years’ experience with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) as a young engineer overseeing Well Operations, Operations and Maintenance of flow stations and gas plant in OML 11.       

Anthony has led multidisciplinary & multinational teams, shaped corporate strategy, and managed complex stakeholder ecosystems involving regulators, JV partners, host communities, and service providers. His experience includes participation in asset acquisition processes, marginal field evaluations, and national gas policy development. 

He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, advanced degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin, and multiple professional certifications including PMP, PMI-RMP, COREN, FNSE, and SPE. He brings to the boardroom a blend of strategic insight, operational discipline, and deep technical expertise, with a strong commitment to safety, governance, and sustainable value creation.
